Chaos struck the quiet streets of Pacifica when a man smashed into parked vehicles in a suspected drunken blunder late Saturday night. Ian Szemere, 47, was cuffed after Pacifica Police Department officers arrived on the scene around 10:26 PM at the 900 block of Crespi Drive, where the local resident had collided with unmoving cars. Szemere admitted involvement in the wreck, which escalated to a DUI investigation after he showed signs of intoxication.
According to the Pacifica Police Department, Szemere was not only visibly impaired but also flunked the sobriety tests, leading to his arrest on the spot. Cops say he'd been drinking and couldn't operate his vehicle safely. Szemere is now facing a 23152(a) CVC after his bone-headed decision to drive under the influence.
